What the N722 materials re-handler test covers
A materials re-handler is the machine used with a grab to lift, sort and load scrap, waste and recycled materials in a yard.
The NPORS learning outcomes published in June 2019 set out the subjects for 12 of the categories on this site. N722 is not one of them, so this page does not list machine-specific tasks. Across the categories they do cover, the subjects follow the same shape:

Experienced worker test or novice course
If you already operate a materials re-handler, the experienced worker test is usually the right route. If you are new to the machine, you need the novice course.
Experienced worker test
For operators with real experience on the machine, assessed against the NPORS category standard. If you are renewing, your card is expired or you want N722 added to a card you already hold, call Ray and he will tell you which route fits.
Novice course
For operators new to the machine, with training and testing against the NPORS category standard. NPORS has three operator cards, the traditional card and the CSCS red and blue cards, and the rules for each are set by NPORS, so see certification for the differences.
